of all renters are low-income households
Our nation has a chronic housing shortage — in every single state.
Inadequate housing does not just affect our most vulnerable neighbors. Many of our most essential workers — including first-responders, medical staff, teachers and social workers who are critical to the health and prosperity of our communities — cannot afford to live in the communities in which they work.
At Foothill, we aim to change that.

Stimulate local businesses and community development.
-
Promote stability while reducing social and municipal costs.
-
Improve educational outcomes.
-
Nurture the social and emotional wellbeing of future generations.
